Q: What is the difference between this 55° mill and a standard 60° mill?

A: Standard 60° mills are for Metric (M) and American UN threads. This 55° mill is specifically designed for British Standard Whitworth (BSW) and Pipe Threads (BSP/G). Using the wrong angle will result in a non-conforming thread profile.

Q: Can this tool cut different thread sizes?

A: Yes! Since it is a single-tooth cutter, you can use helical interpolation to cut any thread diameter and any pitch (TPI), as long as the thread profile requires a 55° angle.

Q: Is it suitable for blind holes?
